How are you?
T.K.:Terricfic.I always feel terrific after performing for all my loyal fans.
Big K9:And we as loyal fans really appreciate it.
T.K.:Thank you.
Big K9:First of all, when did you actually begin your recording career?
T.K.:I began my solo career in 2002.
Big K9:So you have been on the southern soul scene for about three years now.
T.K.:That is correct.
Big K9:Who were your early musical influences?
T.K.:Prince,Stevie Wonder and Micheal Jackson.
Big K9:I would have to say, that is an impressive trio.
T.K.:An awesome trio.
Big K9:Recently you competed on Tom Joyner's Big Break,what was that experience like for you?
T.K.:It was exciting to have the oppurtunity,and disappointing in finding out how unprofessional it was.
Big K9:Reports say you were disqualified,can you tell me in your own words why you were disqualified?
T.K.:Thats my point,it was unprofessional.
Big K9:How do you feel about the blues and southern soul industry now?
T.K.:I feel like someone dropped the ball and its not where it should be!
Big K9:Well, I know with you on the scene, it will be back on the right track.Is there a new cd in the works and if so, when can we hear it?
T.K.:"YES THERE IS",I CAN'T RELEASE IT UNTIL THE LOVE GAME IS DEAD.
Big K9:Where do you see T.K. Soul in the next 5 to 10 years?
T.K.:Living Legend Status.
Big K9:You mean like Johnnie Taylor,Tyrone Davis and Little Milton?
T.K.:That is some pretty good company.
Big K9:If you weren't such a big recording artist,who are some of the artist that you would listen to?
T.K.:I listen to everyone.
Big K9:Are there any artist that you are particulary close with?
T.K.:I have a lot of friends in the industry.
Big K9:I got to see Jackie Neal perform for the first and only time earlier in the year and I know you all did shows together.Can you share any thoughts or comments about Jackie?
T.K.:We lost the next female SOUTHERN SOUL SUPERSTAR.
Big K9:What would you like your fans to know about T.K. Soul?
T.K.:Fans,thanks for making me #1.
