MY DEAR FRIEND CHANDRA a.k.a. "PURE SEDUCTION" FROM STARKVILLE,MISSISSIPPI IS A BIG FAN OF THE BLUES AND SOUTHERN SOUL MUSIC.SHE SHARES WITH US HER CONCERT REVIEW FROM A RECENT BLUES FESTIVAL HELD IN MERIDAN,MISSISSIPPI. "MERIDIAN BLUES AND SOUTHERN SOUL CONCERT REVIEW" Last night I attended a concert in Meridian, MS at the Cochran Center. The line-up included Mr. Terry Wright, Karen Wolf aka Special K, Ms. Jody, Walter Waiters, and Country Boy O.B. Buchana. I came to the show solo, but introduced my self to a Myspace friend Vicki, who also came alone, so we sat together and had a blast. To my surprise it wasn't a large crowd (maybe the building was just to big) but hey the samller the crowd the bigger the party. Finally after a long wait of sound checking, Terry Wright got the show started, showing off doing what he do. He did several tracks from his new and old CD's which included "2 Women" and "Make you say oooo wee wee" Good performance. Next was Ms. Karen Wolf, she stepped on the stage hyped shaking her thang showing the crowd how to do it Arkansas style. She also did tracks from her CD, which included "A strong man", and last but not least her version of Tonite is the nite" and "I knocked the windows out your car". She ended her show with her latest "Man enough to leave woman enough to let you go". Also another good performance. Next up was a DIVA (like myself) Ms. Jody, she said some call her "NASTY" but she is "NAUSTY" and you know she got nausty. Singing songs with her live band, including "Sugar Daddy" one of my favorites, "Your dog bout to kill my cat", "You got to know how to work it", and last but not least "Big daddy don't you cum" and 2 guys got a freak dance as you can see from the pics. They weren't ready for Ms. Jody. It was a great ADULT PERFORMANCE. i LOVE mS. jODY. Now It was time for the Keyboard Extraordinaire Mr. Walter "sexy to me" Waiters. He opened the show playing the blues with his tongue on his keyboard, and boy did the ladies rush to the stage to get better view. And you know he had to get his dance on the woman were grabbing at his crouch so much security had to stand by the stage LOL !!! He finished his outstanding performance with the all time favorite " Don't scratch my back" I LOVE ME SOME WALTER. The last performance was the show stopper Mr. O.B. Buchana. He came out shaking that strong black body, and of course the ladies were already down by the stage. He did his national anthem "Let's get drunk" and turned his bottle of crown royal up to take a LONG drink. One of the women in the crowd wanted a sip he gave it to her, when he got it back he held it up and said "she didn't drink shit" LOL!!! He song "Just because he's good to you" and he was really feeling that song. alsohe song "you just playing wit it" snd you know he did the damn thang. also "It's Over"and last but not least he finished with "back up lover" one of my favorites so you know I was up on my feet. He called up a few ladies to get freaked on the stage. and OMG if you've seen an OB show then you know how it went down, he also gave a shot out to his brother Luther Lacky who was on the keybord and also danced with one of the women he called on stage and can you believe " He wasn't scared of getting caught" Another shot out was made to Mr. Carl Marshal who was in the house. Over all I had a great time, and it was a great show, OB even asked for my autograph LOL!!!! this is Pure Seduction in closing and i'm OUT.
